To celebrate FH | 70 and promote social inclusion, FleishmanHillard in Toronto has partnered with The 519 Community Centre, one of the largest LGBTQ organizations in Canada that provides service, space and leadership to the local community and greater Canadian population. The Green Space Festival has become a staple event and is responsible for raising money for the centre and its various programs and services, like the Newcomer & Refugee, Trans, Queer Parenting, Queer Youth, Seniors, Community Drop-In, Sports and Recreation programs, and more.

FleishmanHillard’s Toronto office has worked with The 519 over the last two years, and provided our digital/social marketing and content creation capabilities to raise the awareness of the festival by donating $25,000 worth of pro bono time each year. In 2016, the event was supported by municipal, provincial and federal government leaders, and welcomed over 40,000 people! Green Space prides itself in being a safe, inclusive and accessible space where admission is free and everyone is welcome. We are excited to announce that Green Space Festival 2016 raised over $500,000 this year for The 519. FleishmanHillard in Toronto is proud to be supporting such a fantastic organization that helps thousands of people every year.
